On November 19, 2025 Protos participated in the Second National Forum on the Real Estate Services Industry, hosted at the Assolombarda Congress Center in Milan. An event that, year after year, confirms itself as a reference point for analyzing the evolution of the sector and sharing new development perspectives.

A look at the future of real estate servicesProtos Real Estate Services Forum

The real estate services industry is going through a phase of consolidation and profound transformation, driven by several strategic directions:

  • Increasingly people-oriented services, whether tenants or occupants
  • Conscious management of social impacts generated by real estate and management processes
  • Integration of digital technologies, from the growing application of artificial intelligence to the potential of augmented and virtual reality
  • Accurate measurement of value generated, a requirement now essential throughout the supply chain

The Forum allowed these trajectories to come into focus, highlighting how the sector is being called upon to continuously evolve and qualify, which is necessary to respond to increasingly complex needs.

Protos’ contribution to the “Project Management” table.

Within the panel dedicated to Project Management, Marco Anselmi, Director Real Estate Services – Consulting & Engineering at Protos, spoke, bringing the Group’s vision of the challenges and opportunities facing the profession. According to Anselmi, Project Management is a well-established discipline, but one that today needs to evolve to respond to more dynamic and interconnected contexts.

In particular, Protos believes it is essential to focus on:

  • Increased transversality of management skills, moving beyond vertical approaches and synergistically integrating know-how from various sectors, such as real estate, energy, engineering, insurance, and technology
  • Structured, multidisciplinary PMOs capable of managing complex projects and offering solutions tailored to the client’s needs and the nature of the initiative
  • Increasing attention to the technological and energy spheres, now essential elements for the success of any real estate or infrastructure project

This approach makes it possible to deal effectively with projects characterized by ever-changing scales, complexities and objectives, while ensuring quality, governance and control.

Protos’ development plans for the coming years

During the presentation, the new growth path undertaken by Protos following the entry of the HIG Capital fund as a majority shareholder in 2025 was also discussed in depth. This is leading to a significant evolution in the company’s structure and strategies.
