The Energy Efficiency Advisory activity aimed at agreensifunding application focuses on providing support to our clients to design, implement and certify inter
venti aimed at improving energy efficiency and meeting the criteria required to access sustainable financing.
In fact, such funding is provided for projects that contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions, energy savings and the adoption of environmentally friendly solutions.
The performance of this activity is carried out as follows:
Preliminary analysis and goal setting
A detailed analysis of the current energy situation of the building or facility is preliminarily carried out, following which the client's needs are also analyzed, assessing the type of intervention to be carried out (e.g., energy renovation, photovoltaic systems, thermal efficiency). During this phase, the compatibility of the project with the criteria required by the financing is verified. green such as reducing CO2 emissions, improving energy efficiency, using low-emission technologies or integrating renewable energy.
Designing energy-efficient solutions
Based on the preliminary analysis, consulting activities focus on developing technical solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency, including:
- The adoption of energy-efficient technologies, such as photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, and condensing boilers.
- Thermal insulation and building envelope efficiency systems (thermal coats, high-efficiency windows, etc.).
- Installation of LED lighting and automation systems to optimize consumption.
Defining the requirements for green financing
Essential support inidentifying the specific requirements demanded by the bank or lender. This includes understanding green financing regulations, sustainability criteria, and required environmental certifications (such as LEED certification, BREEAM, or ISO 50001 standards).
Support in the preparation of documentation
The coaching includes the preparation of all the documentation required to access financing, such as detailed project descriptions, energy analyses, environmental certifications, and sustainability plans. This step is very important and aimed at ensuring that the project meets the formal requirements of financial institutions and local and international regulations.
Management and coordination with the Bank or Lending Institution
During this phase, as a technical advisor, we are responsible for coordinating communications with the bank or lending institution to ensure that all requirements are met and that the project meets the sustainability criteria of the financing.
These activities include:
- Coordination of the approval and evaluation stages by the bank or other financing institutions.
- The resolution of any technical or documentary issues raised by lenders.
- Monitoring of deadlines and reporting requirements necessary to ensure access to funding.
Monitoring of the design and implementation phase
From the moment funding is obtained, Protos continues to support the client in monitoring the implementation of the project, ensuring that interventions are carried out to the required standards. The activities that will be carried out consist of:
- monitoring the progress of the project and managing the implementation phases so that interventions are completed on time and within budget.
- Assistance in the certification of results (such as measuring actual energy savings and emission reductions) to ensure that energy efficiency goals have been met.
Time and cost control
Protos assists the client in managing time and costs, monitoring that project phases are completed on schedule and within budget, avoiding delays that could jeopardize the disbursement of funding or its effective utilization.
Certification of results and final reporting
Once the project is completed, the coaching involves data collection and preparation of a final report attesting to the results achieved in terms of energy savings, reduction of CO2 emissions, or other environmental parameters.
